Holiday in peace and comfort

AS you drive over the millrace and into the paddock, you will enter a haven of peace.

Leave the pressures of your everyday life behind, and enjoy a refreshing stay in the delightful surroundings of The Cornmill.!

The present mill was built in the 18th Century, but there are records of working mills in Kirby Mills in the Domesday Book.

The derelict Mill has been remodelled into a Guest House / B&B and the owners' own home.

Relax in luxury

SENSITIVELY converted into two well accomodated mews holiday cottages, the old stable block now sleeps two adults in each, with an additional sofabed in the lounge.

The ground floor holds the large double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and power shower. The upper floor has the open-plan living room with a dining area and a kitchenette equipped with a refridgerator, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. One cottage has the option of twin beds or king-size double.

IF you are feeling energetic there's plenty to do - walking on the North Yorks Moors, visiting the coast, or the wealth of abbeys, castles and stately homes in the area, or indeed visiting York. In addition, guests are welcome to relax in the garden, stroll through the paddocks or fish in our stretch of the River Dove. We are sorry, but we don't accept pets, and are a non-smoking site.
