Unwind at leisure

IN the Victorian farmhouse there is a guest sitting room, with books and games, a log burning stove and a private bar, plus a boot room for wet walking gear. With only five luxuriously appointed bedrooms - two of which have fourposter beds, and all with en suite bathroom - you are assured of a tranquil stay in total comfort. Each room has a tea and coffee tray, colour TV and hairdryer. With your own house key you are free to come and go as you wish.

Outside you can relax on the patio or in the guest garden, or stroll through the adjoining paddock.

Fancy a spot of fishing? There are brown trout in the River Dove, just waiting to be hooked. There's plenty to do for the energetic - besides walking on the North York Moors or visiting the coast or the wealth of abbeys, castles and stately homes in the area, your hosts can arrange golf, horse-riding, pottery or painting, or loan you a Cornmill bicycle.

The only thing you have to decide is how much energy to burn off.

In addition to the three bedrooms on the first floor, there are two ground floor rooms for less mobile guests. One room is wheelchair friendly, and has a custom-designed bathroom.

We are sorry that we cannot accept pets.
